Meet Executive Director
Lashena McElroy
Lashena McElroy Executive Director of Remedy Home Health LLC Adult Day Care, brings over 20 years of dedicated experience in senior care, healthcare administration, human resources, and community-based services. From the humble beginnings as a C.N.A., Lashena continued to work with diverse populations throughout her career keeping her hand on the pulse of those she was honored to serve. With a compassionate heart and a strategic mind, Lashena leads our center with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
A firm believer in dignity, respect, and person-centered care, Lashena oversees all aspects of our day-to-day operations, ensuring that every participant receives high-quality, personalized support in a safe, welcoming environment. She works closely with families, caregivers, and our multidisciplinary team to promote independence, social connection, and overall well-being.
Before joining Remedy, Lashena served in leadership roles at Mental Health America, The Wisconsin Black Chamber of Commerce, and Autumn Lake HealthCare, where she successfully implemented programs that improved client outcomes and strengthened community partnerships. She holds degrees in Human Resources & Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University.
Lashena’s leadership style is both hands-on and visionary, focusing on continuous improvement, staff development, and innovation in care delivery. She believes that adult day services should be more than just care—it should be a place where every individual is celebrated, engaged, and empowered.
Outside of work, Lashena is active in local community boards and advocacy groups, enjoys event planning & designing, and last but not least spending time with “Auntie’s babies”. Under Lashena McElroy’s leadership, Remedy Home Health LLC continues to thrive as a catalyst for positive change in adult day care, building stronger connections and empowering communities with dignity, respect, and kindness one participant at a time. “Remedy’s mission is simple but powerful- to deliver high-quality, personalized care in an environment that feels like home.
